►The 2015 Silverado Country Fair◄

Extreme heat close to 100°F may have dampened this year's attendance a little. But it did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm at the ICL-sponsored 2015 Silverado Country Fair on Oct 11th & 12th.

The Silverado Country Fair is produced every year by the effort of a great many incredibly hard-working volunteers and supportive donors. ICL would like to especially extend it's appreciation to the following:

Chay Peterson and Jane Bove (organizers)
    Paul Bove (electrical, lighting)
Brett Peterson (entertainment, build team, advertising & promotion, saloon & decor)
    Kevin Topp (promotion, t-shirts)
    Wendy Hayter (electrical, build team)
Vivian Wyngaarden (Un-parade coordinator, Karacters, Wild West Shows, Saloon volunteers, etc)
Linda May and the ICL board (saloon ticketing, administration)
Joel & Leslie Robinson (1800's activities, event emcee)
Denise & Danny Ater (admission volunteers, donations, prizes, fun contests & games)
    Judith & Rufus McKibben
 (donations, prizes, construction volunteer)

The Silverado-Modjeska Parks and Recreation District (venue)
You might not know that the Country Fair is an all-volunteer effort. And net proceeds from the Fair go directly to the ICL to assist canyon residents, families and organizations in times of need, distress or disaster.

Financial Summary of the 2015 Country Fair's Operations

The Fair committee recommended at the Nov. ICL meeting that the Country Fair's net proceeds of $3,000 be directed entirely to the ICL's general fund this year, mainly due to the expected difficult winter ahead.

As is customary, the ICL board voted to accept the Fair committee's recommendation.

Note that these results do not include expenses or proceeds from the Saloon. That is a separate activity run by the ICL itself.

The new beer & wine saloon certainly helped to cool and quaff a great many fair-goers in some intensely hot weather.
We want to thank all the donors to our saloon.
