ICL's fundraising efforts may include sale of beer and wine, so long as doing so does not contradict the purpose and mission of the organization, which is to promote the public good and welfare of all canyon residents, provide assistance in times of disaster, raise funds for community programs, and keep residents informed of activities, events and developments that affect the community.
Alcohol sales (beer and wine) are deemed consistent with the mission of the ICL so long as the following conditions are met:

- Each ICL event where alcohol is served must be authorized by the ICL board in advance,
- The presence of alcohol is compatible with the intent of the event,
- The presence of alcohol does not hinder the community-minded, family-friendly atmosphere,
- All state and local laws and ordinances are followed,
- Alcohol is sold and served in a responsible manner that includes training for sellers and servers based on the responsible service guidelines.
